Aisha, radiallahu ‘anha, narrated:
“A lady along with her two daughters came to me asking for some alms, but she found nothing with me except one date which I gave her. She divided it between her to daughters, and did not eat anything herself, and then got up and went away. Then the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam came in and I informed him about this story. He said: “Whoever is put to trial by these daughters and he treats them generously (with benevolence) then these daughters will act as a shield for him from Hellfire.”

The saying has many dimensions for understanding. Though I am not a scholar but I can try. Because Allah said in his Holy Qur’an” propagate even if you know one good word”.
Before the time Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam is called the age of ignorance. At that time people considered female child as a problem ( they buried alive girl in the desser send) because of the attude of ten society. Kids (boy or girl) are a test for the parents. The parents have to correct them, teach them and take care of them as a result they face so many difficulties. It is not an easy job.
Another saying Aisha, radiallahu ‘anha, narrated:” Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said that any one who got three daughter and raised them up and arrange good husband for them Allah will put that person to Jannah. Then she asked if anybody has two. The prophet said that same to that person. Again she asked if anybody got one. The Prophet replied that the same will be applicable for that person”.
So we can infer that baby girl is not a problem for us rather it is blessing for us. And we can make our way to Jannah by taking care of them.
In the saying that women was given a date and she gave it all to his two daughters. She is so very generous towards them. This generosity will lead her to Jannah and protect her from the Hell fire.
