يا من بدنياه اشتغل
“O he who is busy with his dunya!
قد غره طول الأمل
Whom illusions of a long lifetime have deluded.
الموت يأتي بغتة
Verily death arrives suddenly,
والقبر صندوق العمل
And the grave is a collection-box of actions.”
