By the mercy of God Paradise has eight doors. One of those is the door of repentance, child. All the others are sometimes open, sometimes shut, but the door of repentance is never closed. Come seize the opportunity: the door is open; carry your baggage there at once.

Al-Hasan once said
“O son of Adam, to abstain from a sin is easier for you than curing it later on through repentance. How can you be sure that you will not commit a deed so grave in its wickedness that the door of repentance will be closed before you?”

A man once went to Rabiah bint Ismail Al-Adawiyyah, who was known by the titles, ‘Mother of Goodness,’ and ‘The famous worshiper.’
He said, “Indeed, I have perpetrated a great number of sins. If I repent, do you think that Allah will accpet my repentance?”
She said, “Woe unto you! Do you not see that He invites those who turn away from Him; then why wouldnt He accept the repentance of those who turn towards Him?”
