Do not lose hope in Allah, for He is the Creator. He will create another way for you. Do not flee from your trials; patience in adversity is the foundation of all virtue, of compassion and sainthood.

Aisha, radiallahu ‘anha, narrated:
“A lady along with her two daughters came to me asking for some alms, but she found nothing with me except one date which I gave her. She divided it between her to daughters, and did not eat anything herself, and then got up and went away. Then the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam came in and I informed him about this story. He said: “Whoever is put to trial by these daughters and he treats them generously (with benevolence) then these daughters will act as a shield for him from Hellfire.”
[Related by Bukhari in the Book of Zakat.]

Al-Qasim Ibn Muhammad said:
“We used to travel with Ibn al-Mubarak a lot, and I used to ask myself: ‘Why is this man (Ibn al-Mubarak) better than us and famous among people?’ If he prays, we pray too; if he fasts, we fast too; if he performs Hajj, we perform Hajj too; and if he takes part in Jihad, we take part in Jihad too. But one day, we were on our way to ash-Shaam (Syria) and, one night, we stayed in a house. We were having our dinner when suddenly the lamp went out. One of us went outside to look for oil to light the lamp. When he came back with the lamp, I saw the face and beard of Ibn al-Mubarak covered with tears, so I told myself: “Because of his fear of Allah, he is better than us; he started thinking about the Day of Judgment as soon as the light went out and the place became dark.'”

From the Wise Sayings of Luqman
“If you’re in prayer, take care of your heart;
If you’re eating, take care of your throat;
If you’re in another man’s house, take care of your eyes;
If you are among people, take care of your tongue.
Remember two matters and forget two matters:
Remember Allah (SWT) and death;
Forget any good that you have done to another and any evil that was done to you by another.”

‘Ali b. Abi Taalib – Allah be pleased with him – said:
“Narrate to people what they can understand; do you want Allah and His Messenger to be disbelieved?”
